Transformation of a disused mountain village house into a luxury holiday rental in Lunigiana, Tuscany.

In August 2008 we bought casa d'alloro in the borgo of Baccana, Licciana Nardi, Lunigiana, Tuscany. Its quite a large village house on 3 levels partly over a beautiful stone built archway.

We will firstly convert the cantina with its typical arched celing into a 2 bed apartment with open plan living and dining area. It will have large arched windows with views over the chestnut tree covered hills and it will be possible to go down steps and a ramp to the garden and pool area. There are 2 en-suites 1 with bath and 1 with shower.

The main house will be next with it's huge terrace. It also will have 2 bedrooms and amazing views.

The old section of the house has original stone floors and will have a huge open living/dining area 5 metres high with chestnut beams.
